I am a 2d animator, illustrator and visual artist, currently Associate Lecturer in both Animation and Media Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London; I also facilitate creative workshops for community organisations and corporate clients, working with a diverse range of participants in a variety of different mediums including filmmaking, illustration, life drawing, digital art, mural painting and craftwork...

Nadia Bettega is a freelance photographer who has been involved in a number of educational and awareness-raising photography projects. Past collaborative projects include partners such as Art on the Underground, the British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR); the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund and the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Cote D’Ivoire. She has been involved in a wide variety of projects dealing with asylum seekers, refugees and BME youths in the UK. She is a founding member of Eyes Wide Open, a community partnership project running participatory photography projects. The project is aimed at facilitating creativity, innovative thought and talent in young people. She is also involved in delivering outreach and educational projects with The Photographers Gallery..

She has a thorough understanding of artist’s practice in a variety of fields from sculpture through to electronic media and has a particular interest in how practice can relate to the socio-economic development of global communities.

She is also familiar with the commercial art world having managed a West End gallery for an Old Master Drawings dealer for six years prior to her involvement with the artist-led sector. ..
