BOXED IN is a collection of assemblage art, created by artist Cher Morresey. A resident of Enfield for the last ten years, Cher has chosen to have her first solo exhibition at Forty Hall, the beautiful Grade 1 listed Jacobean Hall, built in 1629. "Boxed In" is not only a reference to the physical nature of a box; but is also an anti-slogan, as Cher pushes back the perimeters of traditional art forms to show the viewer that assemblage can be just as beautiful or thought provoking as painting. Her art work addresses a wide range of social issues and as a psychology graduate many interesting psychological theories.
