Empowerment through Art. Using a range of artforms and many recycled materials I produce work which hopefully makes people think about their environment, and their relationships with other members of the public. The work strives to have an emotive core, as I believe art without emotion is not worth producing. Trained as an art teacher and having taught in the creative field for over thirty years, I was struck down with ME, some ten years ago. Having to rebuild my life again I have used my own art as a creative force and a therapy. I am now raising money for charity through the sale of my work, and am eventually hoping to turn this into a new career.I have established a web site that showcases my work and the charities I support.www.Givingallery.co.uk My work is challenging for me to produce as a result of my dissabilities and I hope it makes the audiance think and challenges their perceptions.Its a fusion of art, photography, sculpture and poetry.Its style ranges from realism to surrealsm and abstraction, and it has helped to empower me through a challenging period in my life.
