Korac, Zoran
All through his school days Zoran excelled at art and when he was child he was chosen to draw a birthday portrait of President Tito of Yugoslavia. His ambition was to become a painter on leaving school. However, due to family pressure, he was prevented from taking up a place at the Academy of Arts in Skopje. Zoran was determined to continue to develop his career as an artist and so undertook independent study in visual art techniques through informal apprenticeships within the communities of artists in Skopje and Sarajevo. Zoran subsequently travelled around Europe studying the work of great masters before settling in London in 1990. Throughout this period he has continued to paint and to develop his artistic personality.
