My practice, both as a solo artist and theatre director, is informed by my professional and academic background: indeed, I studied History & Politics, graduating with a PhD in Diplomatic History and until 2005 I worked as freelance writer and broadcast reporter in Eastern Europe, Belgium and London. My work is interdisciplinary, fusing classic poetry with movement and multimedia. Half-way between Physical and Dance theatre, my productions aim to revisit obscure historical eras to celebrate the present while my solo performances, often intuitive and expressive, explore the nature(s) of the relation between physicality and sexual, cultural or sexual identity. ..
