I am an actor and facilitator from London. I trained at the Birmingham School of Acting (2003-2006) and have just continued my training at Drama Centre with an MA in Classical European Acting. As part of my training I spent six weeks at the Globe Theatre and two months in Russia at the Vakhtangov Institute. I have worked as a drama facilitator since 2002, working on a variety of projects for different organisations and companies. One of the most exciting being for Banana Splitz Theatre Company; we were commissioned to create a piece of theatre for the ‘Mind the Gap’ conference discussing services for young people in need. The piece was devised and performed by us, working with four young teenagers from Sussex. This is the type of work I am interested in continuing, along with running drama, dance and singing workshops for young people. I am now in the process of setting up some exciting new projects aimed at young people in the Camden area, in association with the Giant Olive Theatre Company at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre, Kentish Town. The first project will be ‘Giant Olive Play Week’ in April, so watch this space!
