Warhorse Theatre Works

Hosted by Warhorse Theatreworks every Monday night from 6.30 – 9pm at The Thanet Hall in Chalk farm, The Performers’ Playground brings together directors, actors, dancers, and playwrights to collaboratively explore and create new theatre. Using the work of (among others) Lecoq, Chekhov, Laban and John Wright together with the principles of mask, puppetry and mime, The Playground is your space to develop your ideas, learn new skills and hone existing talents. Together with talented performers/ practitioners you can expand your network of artists, find inspiration through group exercises, and experiment with ways to develop complicity within an ensemble.

These sessions are designed for you to come as often as you please, so if you have an idea you need to workshop; if you are seeking insight and inspiration; and especially if you need a creative outlet that may lead you to make new work, come along and play.
