| We are celebrating China in London, part of the national festival China Now. The Wallace Collection has a small, but fascinating collection of Chinese bronzes, including two incense burners which have recently been conserved in-house and the visitor will be able to lean about how they regained their original splendour. | |

We are celebrating China in London, part of the national festival China Now. The Wallace Collection has a small, but fascinating collection of Chinese bronzes, including two incense burners which have recently been conserved in-house and the visitor will be able to lean about how they regained their original splendour. A great highlist this quarter will be a superb loan from Compton Verney in Warwickshire, one of our partneer museums, of a unique Chinese ritual wine vessel from the 13th 0 11th centureis BC. You can also join us for a varied family programme, including 'Rats, Rabbits and Roosters' and 'A Piece of China' drop=in day, offering Chinese fan dancing, opera face painting and storytelling, all delivered by the London Jing Kun Opera Association. Please come and join us! |
