Samuels, Elaine

I am a singer / song-writer / guitarist working both solo and with duo / trio and band “Kindred Spirit”. I have been featured on television and radio as well as at venues like Glastonbury Festival, Guildford Festival, the Marquee, Barbican and other major venues around the UK. I perform around 100 gigs per year and have produced several albums, although I am not signed to a record company. I have led workshops on song-writing and performance techniques and I founded the Windsor Song-Writer Festival. I have written a number of related articles, which have been published in London’s Music Maker magazine. I have performed several BASCA showcase events around London and I was a full, cast member of the singer / song-writer showcase group “Girls With Guitars UK” between 2003 and 2005, where I performed regular monthly showcases in London’s Covent Garden. I am launching a new song-writer’s event in Isleworth in April 2008.
