Self-employed / Koestler Trust / London College of Communication

As an artist and writer I'm working across a fairly broad front - as usual!
I'm currently researching and writing a book about prison art in the UK, sponsored by the Koestler Trust and funded by an Arts Council Award. It should be published early 2009 by A&C Black. I also teach at London College of Communication on the Surface Design courses there. My professional studio practice engages decorative surface design applications (notably wallpaper) through print and digital processes, with particular reference to the Pattern and Decoration Movement. I have also been working with a wallpaper company to realise site-specific artists' wallpaper.
