I am a published poet and workshop leader. My recent pamphlet 'Songs from the flats' (Hearing Eye) was a Poetry Book Society choice for winter 2005/6. I edit the poetry pages of Not Shut Up magazine - a prisoner's creative writing magazine and have judged various poetry competitions. I have taught workshops in a number of different places; prisons, primary schools, an ecology centre, a centre for adults with learning disabilities and community arts festivals. My artwork is a mixture of close observation, interpretation and imagination. I work in oil, acrylic and watercolour, on canvas, linen and paper. I reproduce many of my paintings as limited edition giclée prints. My latest paintings depict the landscape and eroding coastline of Suffolk, capturing the changing light and strange driftwood formations.
