Performance by Hemz at the ‘Under One Sky’ Festival

On Sunday 29th June 2008 Broken Poetry’s main Hiphop/Rap artist Hemz performed a song from his latest project called ‘The Broken Poetry EP.’ Hemz performed his critically acclaimed track ‘I Just Wunna Be’ in the Enterprise Zone run by ABi, part of Harrow Council’s ‘Under One Sky’ Festival. Over 5000 people attended and supported all the artist performances including London’s Jay Sean who headlined the event.

Hemz’s delivery of his latest song was well received by the crowd and ‘The Broken Poetry EP’ CD was in great demand after the event and sold out quickly. ABi’s, Vijay Amin, commented: “Hemz really has a unique talent, the lyrics and message in his song was powerful, we loved it!” Kingsbury High’s, Thomas Owoo said: “I saw Hemz perform at ‘Simply the Best’ at the Hackney Empire, he was amazing then too.”
