With twenty years experience in the private and commercial sectors and five years in the public sector, I am a versatile self-employed freelance artist, proficient in a wide range of mediums. Areas of expertise include:

Murals - Decorative, scenic work, Airbrush and Trompe L’oeil.

Illustration (Water Colours & Acrylics) - Books, Posters, Costume & Production Design, fine enamels, porcelain, greetings cards, and textiles.

Interiors - Interior Design, Visual Concepts and “Mood Boards”, Decorative and faux paint finishes, set painting, Technical scale drawing (specialist in kitchen design).

Community Art - Mural projects, mask, carnival lanterns, puppets and performance art, site specific work and heritage.

Arts Organisation –Gallery, comedy, arts workshops and performance events organiser.


Clients have included Harrods, Selfridges, Halcyon Days, BAA, La Senza, The Royal Family of the United Arab Emirates, Furlong Homes for murals and illustration and, Hertfordshire Youth Service, ‘Looked After Children’, ‘Haven’ Homeless Day Centre, Fenland Arts, Trestle Arts Base and various primary and secondary schools.

In addition to the core skills of drawing and painting, my key strengths are project initiation, management and completion. More recently I have discovered a natural talent for teaching with originality and enthusiasm to catalyse and enhance the learning process.

My work is published as giftware and textiles, and am currently working as a part time Director of STARTS (a charity dedicated to the improvement of arts and culture in St. Albans)
