Horniman Museum & Gardens

Horniman Museum & Gardens Horniman Museum & Gardens
The Horniman Museum in Forest Hill, founded by Victorian tea trader Frederick Horniman, has been delighting audiences with its fascinating and diverse collections since 1901.

From music, to natural history, to African and other world cultures, there’s something for everyone, and with the opening of the museum’s new Aquarium in July 2006 now there’s even more to explore.

As if that wasn’t enough, relax after your visit in the award-winning Horniman Gardens – 16 acres of beautiful green space right in the middle of South London. And all this for free!

Visit the Horniman Museum and Gardens daily from 10.30am - 5.30pm. Entrance is FREE, but some temporary exhibitions do have a small charge. Please check our website for full details of exhibitions and events.
