Kensington Unitarians @ Essex Church
A creativity group meets monthly: members take turns, as they are able, to lead a wide variety of art and craft activities. The group has a relaxed atmosphere and newcomers are always welcome to come along and join in. The group usually meets on the second Thursday of each month from 7-9pm. Please see our website for further details.
A new community textile art project, ‘The Fabric of Diversity: Sharing our Stories through Fibre and Stitch’, will be launched in October 2008. We will make and embellish felt squares which represent our place in the local community and our connections in the wider world. At the end of the project these squares will be joined to make a large wall-hanging, and an accompanying booklet will detail all the people who took part in its creation. All are welcome – no prior experience is required.
