Ssebowa, Maggie

I have a keen interest in photography and filmmaking. My artwork can be politically challenging to society, thought provoking and autobiographical. I not only like to challenge people’s views and opinions about the different aspects of life, but I also like to introduce people to new ways of seeing art and use it to provoke their emotions. I Am very passionate about Art and Creativity.

I would like to work in television broadcasting i.e. presenting or anything creative. I have a great interest in TV and Film documentaries. My dream is to one day create my own documentary on TV. I also love art galleries therefore working in an art gallery, as a curator, art journalist or art assistant would be great.
I would love to open a gallery or create a space where everyone and anyone could come exhibit and perform their work particularly the youth for free; I believe art and theatre should be easily accessible and free to all.

I enjoy theatre and performing. I sing a lot and I also like dancing and acting. I would love to take part in a major production like Chicago.

I love working with children, in London I worked as a Sunday school teacher with children and teens from 5-15 years of age at my local church. I did this for 2 years on a voluntary basis.

I have worked with young children between the ages of 0-5 years at Marjons nursery; this was on a voluntary basis. I have also carried out nursery paid work with toddlers and pre-infant school this was at Little Rascals Nursery.
