While working for many years as the Assistant to the Bursar of a Drama school , where her responsibilities where assisting on all aspects of Financial & Management Accounting. Has been infused to work as self employed and voluntary work within the arts and creative industry over the past 22 years, and has gained incredible work experience covering a wide range of Arts Management. Finding it difficult to pinpoint one area, continues to work in this manner while completing her Arts Management Diploma and now competing an MA in Arts Management and Policy. Also currently a Treasurer and Project manager of a Performing Arts School. Her responsibilities are to set up courses to motivate young people & bring together communities, run fundraising events, audition and selection and performance arrangements. The school have achieved successful funding bids for running courses. Set up a management company to manage all aspects of solo artists and band management i.e organisation of gigs, negotiate contracts & production arrangements.
In partnership with another Artist Manager, set up and ran a live showcase for acoustic musicians which included selection of acts, scheduling the evenings, marketing and arrangement of equipment hire and agreed health and safety regulations with the venue. With this and many other project management work has given the ability to write new courses within the area of Community Arts for Filming, Acting & Stage Management course for all ages.
