CEVIZ, FARUK
Faruk Ceviz is a classically trained Turkish born British composer, guitarist and a record producer. Being a dedicated musician, Faruk has been working in the music industry for many years as a composer, producer and guitarist. He released various singles in the UK and TV and Film music. His work combines Turkish influences with the elements of contemporary orchestral music and often explores multicultural themes.
Faruk studied composition at Middlesex University with composer Deborah Mollison and started scoring for film and TV. His master degree study in Composing for Film & TV at Kingston University has broadened his experience within various media.
He composed / produced music for various TV programmes, e.g. his first credited TV documentary score, Don't Kick Us Out for Channel 4 in 2005; Gavin Stamp's Orient Express directed by Steven Green, five series of TV Documentary for Channel 5 in 2007; TV commercials for CNN in 2008. He also provided music for Pars, a Turkish film by Osman Sinav in the same year
