Welcome to MET Academy Whether you’re looking for a career as a performer or simply enjoy meeting new friends and challenging yourself in a creative environment, MET academy is the place for you. The academy will open its doors in January 2010 for 7-18 year olds and will be teaching lessons in acting, singing and movement by professional performers. Each term you will also work with stars of the stage, television and film who will give advice, insights into the profession and secrets to success! We are a group of actors and close friends who live in North London. We have set up MET Academy because we believe theatre training can provide lessons for life as well as the stage. Ellie trained at Guildford School of Acting and Martin and Tom trained at Central School of Speech and Drama all graduating last summer with degrees in Acting. Since leaving, they have worked in Theatre, TV and Film and hope that, through MET Academy, they can pass on their skills and passion. Our mission is to be the number one choice in youth theatre training, providing young artists with the structure, support and tools to develop as performers and people. Through a combination of industry connections, passion and fun, we aim to provide every student with a unique and stimulating experience in a safe and comfortable environment.
