At age 66 Sandra Shevey has turned from interviewing celebrities to taking you around to their film sites. The interviewer who by her own admission has spent more time on film sets than she has in her own home now gives you a chance to listen to some of the interviews conducted on location.The interviews with Alfred Hitchcock, Mike Leigh and others are intercut within the context of walking tours around London film locations which run for 3 hours.
The walks run Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 11am for 3 hours.
Sandra also runs an independent Alfred Hitchcock locations walk on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11am for 3 hours.
`The thing is`, she says, `everyone and his mother is running film location walks nowadays. But few of the couriers have ever been on a film set. I not only was on the film sets, but I also interviewed the directors. Some I got to know extremely well, such as Irvin Kershner and Alfred Hitchcock`.
