Keneish Dance Performance and Education

Keisha Grant - founder and Senior Choreographer of Keneish Dance, a fresh and innovative Contemporary Company providing a unique Education programme for Schools, Choreography and Performance for Theaters and Festivals. Formed in 2008 the company has developed a powerful approach to Dance. The work is inspired by Dance styles of an African Diaspora including African, Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap. Embracing it’s physicality, expression and dynamic.

We work closely with Schools and Community organisations to provide a quality learning experience for participants. We have a range of fun and inclusive Dance sessions tailored to suite your needs for: PPA, PE: Dance, GCSE, ‘A’ Level, BTEC, BA Hons,School Cultural and Health days. Our sessions are carefully planned according to the Schools context and learning objective.

The sessions not only deepen body awareness and stimulate creativity but also increase confidence, fitness and self acceptance by giving participants the opportunity to use dance as a vehicle of self expression.
