Rebecca Wood graduated in 2001 with a BA (Hons) Contemporary Arts from Nottingham Trent University where she focused on installation work based around photography and early animation.
After graduating in 2001 she travelled to South Korea where she worked for 2 years as an English teacher teaching creative English classes to all ages.
Throughout her time in Korea Rebecca continued to create work, focusing on painting and on her return to England her main objective was to develop her creative practice.
In 2005 Rebecca gained a diploma in Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths College, London. Her interest in Visual art, education and psychology and then led her to work as an Arts workshop leader in and around London.
Rebecca is currently working on developing her creative practice, she has recently been working on commissioned work and other projects including her 1st collaborative film piece.
Alongside her visual work Rebecca continues to work as a workshop leader in various community environments. Beginning in December 2007 Rebecca will be working with Create to Learn as a creative mentor to art students working on creative projects with schools in Greenwich, London.
