Since completing my degree in Fine Art, I have worked for the education department at the Royal Festival Hall. I then went on to work at Longbridge Road under eights centre in Earls Court. My final degree piece involved working with elderly at an old people's home which led me to find I am particularly interested in working with the general public, so during this time I have been volunteering for the Trojan Scheme as a Community Arts officer. This involves working with primary school children on after-school and holiday projects. These projects are designed to encourage physical development, perceptual awareness, interests and aesthetic tastes. They encompass mosaic and murial painting as well as smaller creative pieces to generate fantasy and expand a child's frame or reference and fluency of ideas.
