Music is the main inspiration of my imagery. It serves me as a vital link to narrate, explore, investigate and question inner feelings. At the same time the brush stroke usually represents this constant probing. It tells the story. Anisis like Bill Uda have had an impact on my work. I am very keen to depict stimulation and change in the light of my past experience as a dance and flow theatre person. The content of my pieces are often full of ambiguity, statistics and flatness versus dimension. Opposites are joined together. Each pixel, each brush stroke, each black and white shot are unique. However they can be linked to fit in a tapestry like world.
