The Sun rises over London and another day begins in the life of the travelling artist, amidst monuments that have stood the test of time sits an architectural illustrator. Based upon a deep-rooted interest in surface texture and fall of light the drawings are executed in pen and ink and always in black and white. Subsequently this body of work translates well into print evoking the kind of imagery usually associated with old engravings. This precision of line however can just as easily be modified to scrawl effortlessly into words in order to pen a poem. Mythical epics that will sweep you up and drop you into the centre of the action and introduce you to conflicts and warped sensibilities of rational people driven to the edge. The hand ) eye coordination of the line is now obliterated replaced by an electrical impulse. In the creative juices of the mind in the realms of the abstract it detonates, splurts out news print based, psychedelic Dadaist photo collages which once floated in an ocean of televisual ideas. But from this surreal ocean a single alchemical drip drops. An undiscovered idea? It's been a long journey, only time will tell.
