Edwards, Candice

I am a trained make-up artist but my primary aim is to be an R&B vocalist. I have built up my experience and skills by taking part in studio sessions as a backing singer, harmonising etc. Also as a lead singer in a band for a course run by the Princes Trust ("Sound Live" Dec 2003) where I was able to define my skills as a group member and as a lead vocalist. Music runs in the family - my mum was a backing singer with Caron Wheeler as well as many other well-known artists, and my Dad was a base guitarist. I have had vocal training since the age of eight. I was consistently a very strong member of the choir throughout my schooling. As far back as I can remember music has been my main joy and inspiration.
