Schirmer, Anne-Kathrin

I am a classical guitarist and instrumental teacher, graduated from Hanover College of Music and attended a postgraduate performance diploma course at the Royal College of Music in London. I have been teaching guitar to children and adults, beginners to advanced, since 1998, and taught privately and in urban music schools. I am happy to share my passion for this wonderful, exciting and versatile instrument with anybody interested in music. I have extensive experience including recording a CD for EMI Classics, performing and international touring with the Cross Over Band in 2001 and 2003. I am currently looking for new projects where my 'classical' skill can be combined with other genres (world, folk etc) to explore new sounds and ideas.
