Venture Community Association (The)

The Venture Community Association is situated in Golborne Ward, one of the most deprived areas of Kensington and Chelsea. The organisation provides an increasing variety of services reflecting the needs of the community, these range from; childcare schemes, line dancing for over fifties, to free computer courses, outings and intercultural events. The organisations' success lies in its recognition of the need to work with and empower the community by providing accessible, appropriate services and developing partnerships. The Venture Centre holds a variety of annual events itself as well as hosting a range of community celebrations. Spaces for hire include a large hall and stage, clubroom and kitchen. The centre is always on the look out for new ideas for programmes and partnerships in order to develop its services and serve the local community.
