Turtle Key Arts

Turtle Key was set up as a performance space in 1989 and changed to being a production and management company in 1998. Turtle Key Arts combines production skills, technical skills and training to work with artists, dancers, theatre companies, venues, disability arts organisations and the education sector in London and nationally. Objectives of the Trust The main objective of the Trust as stated in the Trust Deed is the advancement of public education in the dramatic and visual arts with the object improving the conditions of life for those persons who have need of such provision. The organisation works with a large number of freelancers including a graphic designer, a professional video company, a classical music producer, a sound engineer, a number of lighting designers, set and costume designers and makers as well as stage managers and technicians. In the past year Turtle Key have managed three emerging dance companies including helping to fund and create new work and national and international touring: taken on the administration of Amici intergrated disabled and non-disabled dance company and have produced a national tour for New Life ) a blind Croatian theatre company.
