Cohen, Leah

I'm a Londoner for 20 years, having been born and cursed with an incurable Bronx NY temperament and wit! I was an Art/English major (Music & Art, CUNY, (NYC)) having married, had 2 children and rearing them in 14 different locations in South America, Europe, New York and Pittsburgh. I Founded The Art Students League of San Juan, Puerto Rico. I ran creative writing/thinking groups, advanced writers workshops; acted, directed, wrote plays including one produced at the Grace Theatre, Battersea, (Evening Standard- rave review). I've done stand-up poetry readings and had 'Poems on the buses'. I also write fantasy short stories, where imagination is the weapon of the meek! I,ve had art shows including in Scarsdale, Pittsburgh and the Chelsea Arts Club of which I'm a member. I'm a very good photographer and wouldn,t mind a commission, but mostly I'd like to collaborate on a 'woman's issues' play (I was a keyworker in a refuge for victims of domestic violence), also continue running the Westminster Creative Writing/Thinking, and Advanced Writers' Workshop. - possibly teaching creative writing and/or thinking, in an adult education course.
