Leff, Jessa
I draw on glass, mostly pictures of people and often incorporating words, to illustrate moments in every day life. I use tubes of glass paint, drawing straight from the nozzle to make a very fine line, which can resemble engraving. The paint dries hard, so that the glass can be wiped with a dry cloth without damage. I have a range of drawings on glass available, both flat and three-dimensional, from faces in profile on sherry glasses for £25, to a full length double portrait on blue glass, lit from the inside for £200. I am happy to take commissions. Please email me to see images of my work. I studied Fine Art, graduating from Norwich School of Art & Design with first class honours in 1997, and then participated in the Fine Art Management & Professional Practice programme as artist in residence at Kensington and Chelsea College. Since then, I have helped to organise and contribute to 30 exhibitions in galleries and alternative spaces around the country, most recently, a solo show: "Reflections" at The Thread Gallery in Cambridge. My work is represented in private collections here and abroad: in Finland, Israel, Italy, Norway, South Africa and the USA.
