Rutherford, Mandy
I have been involved in dance and the arts from a very early age and have dedicated a large proportion of my time to pursuing a career in this field. Like most children I began dancing at a young age and I became fascinated with the arts. This love then turned to ambition. I spent the rest of my youth training under dance scholarship in New York, Chicago and LA and at the age of 17 I spent a summer training with Gus Giordano jazz company as an apprentice. Then rather than pursuing a professional dance career directly after high school, I decided that it was important that I go to university and get my degree of which I completed in 2000. During University I was a member of the ensemble and performed regularly. I also dabbled in choreography. After University I was offered a place in Royal Caribbean’s dance cast and danced for them for almost two years.
