Cultural and literary pursuits include reviewing Indian cultural programs in the media, as a cultural commentator, and giving Bharatha Natyam dance presentations on various occasions. Her reviews and comments have been published in Asian Leader in the North West, Narthaki, a renowned website for danseuses.

She has also taken Saturday classes on Indian culture-Folk art at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at Manchester.
