Our education programmes promote the three A’s: access, awareness and art!

We offer workshops in the gallery, artist talks, an outreach service, practical visual workshops and an annual education exhibition.

Participants including children, teachers and volunteers increase their self-esteem and develop confidence, learn new skills, engage with different people and age groups, and develop methods of communication.

At present we run the Primary Schools Programme (PSP) in Brent and Lambeth. The PSP works with KS2 group. We also run a youth at risk programme in Brent called UCre8 that engages with a PRU and the Children’s Support Panel. All current programmes entail ongoing outreach workshops and visits to exhibitions at the Mall Galleries.

We run a formal volunteer scheme and deliver InSet days for teachers.

Schools not participating in the PSP who are interested in gallery workshops can book visits. In spring 2007, we will be running the Bronze and Silver Arts Award.
