Rigby, Edwina

An experienced prop builder & project manager with 10 years experience, specialising in 3D construction (e.g. lanterns, masks, costumes, props), lighting, and event décor.

Recent experience has been as Assistant Director and Head of Décor for the Seychelles Carnival 2006, Lead Artist decorating the Western Union Float for Notting Hill Carnival 06 and an installation artist for The Glade Festival 06.

She was also awarded a bursary in July 06 to attend the Making of Mas Carnival Arts Intensive course run by Kinetika Arts (Atlanta Olympics 1996).

In Oct 05 she worked on a stadium show for the opening of the Kreol Festival in The Seychelles, coordinating the making of 200 fish-themed lanterns with children and completing a 30ft sun that had to be lifted on a crane for the opening of the show.

She has experience in production management, health and safety, cost reporting (up to £4 million), project management, TV studio management and resource management.
