Bryan, Denise

I trained as a sculptor and still make objects, as well as working with photographic media and video. These elements are often used together in installation and performance works. I collaborate with a sound artist and our most recent project “Silkthreads” started with a 15 month journey along the Silk Road and a website. Since returning to the UK we have created a number of installation and performance works, all relating to “Silkthreads”. I have lectured in Fine Art and Photographic practice at Further and Higher Education level and have taught sculpture and photography in a number of community settings.
