I offer creative dance, contemporary, jazz and/or ballet classes. I am a fully qualified dance teacher with experience in teaching dance technique and creative dance, alongside rehearsal and communication skills. I also have interest in offering integrated dance sessions to enable disabled persons to be a full and active part of the community. I have a qualification in community dance, which included training to provide for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities.

I have extensive experience with children aged between three and twelve and I work on the creativity of each individual person, focusing upon their sense of self and their own personal discovery of their body. I believe this can increase self confidence and self assurance, in turn leading to a sense of identity and improving social skills, significant to the transformation from teenager to adult. I also place an importance on communication throughout the class as I feel it is necessary for each person to have the ability to express themselves and articulate their thoughts and feelings in relation to anatomical, aesthetic and personal issues. I feel it is important for each individual to be given the opportunity to unearth their personal strengths, in a safe environment with an emphasis on fun, imagination, expression and creativity.

I am also an experienced choreographer, and have taken part in workshops at London Contemporary dance school. I am continuing to explore my interest as a professional artist and I have the appropriate skills to create multidisciplinary shows for youth and adult organisations.
