She returned to London to dance & began to teach in 2005, founding A Taste of Tango with her first class at Pineapple Dance Studios. "For me, dancing Tango socially isn't about flashy show-style moves, and complicated learnt routines, this is dancing for other people, it's about connecting to your partner and seeing where the relationship leads you. If you dance simply but well, and can move to the music, then this is Tango."
The Pineapple class continues today & there are more classes during the week. Jenney also founded Toca Tango a regular Tango Club, and held the first series of Toca Tango Fuera (Play Tango Outside) in Summer 2006. She started A Taste of Tango with the aim of growing the London Tango community through teaching, events and bringing guest teachers from Buenos Aires and other Tango centres in the world to pass on their knowledge and expertise.
