Painting Explorers

As an artist, it's my experience that practicing art is a fantastic way to focus as well as have fun!

Painting Explorers is an art workshop for children age 6-15. Small groups (maximum 6 pupils) study in an artist’s environment with quality art materials and instruments.

During the Term classes, the children learn new techniques and develop their artistic skills through a variety of exercises and games. They work with different media in 2 and 3 dimensions using traditional as well as less conventional tools.

The Holiday Workshops are a unique experience giving the children a thrilling sense of creation. The children explore a theme using some of the tools & techniques described above.

Example of Themes and Techniques:

Movement and Marks: quick sketching with pencil, charcoal, sanguine, chalks...drawing with music.

Colour & Texture: Painting with gouaches, acrylics, preparing grounds.

Collages

3D: Model Making, Papier Mâché, Clay, Theatre Model Box
