Camden Arts & Tourism

Our arts service provides an advisory and support role for arts organisations and artists in Camden, as well as ensuring the development of high quality arts activity within the borough.

The Camden Arts service works with community and arts organisations to deliver a range of initiatives each year including community festivals and Young Archaeologists. It also has responsibility for managing the Swiss Cottage Gallery, Camden Centre and Film.

Camden is one of the most thriving areas for the arts in Europe. It houses many of London’s and the UK’s leading cultural institutions such as the British Museum and the British Library.

It is also the home of many mid- and small-scale creative organisations such as Hampstead Theatre, Camden Arts Centre and the Roundhouse.

Camden Arts supports several of major arts organisations in Camden through annual revenue grants. We also provides funding to small-scale arts projects in the borough through our Cultural Small grant scheme.
