Melissa Hunt is inspired by man made mechanisms such as threaded bottle tops, light bulb fittings and plugholes to create kinetic wearable pieces. She is interested in the notion of 'his'n'hers': rings that can be dismantled and worn by two people at the same time, becoming quite literally each others' other half.

She also sets stamps, areas of maps, photos and found small objects into silver cufflinks and seals them with a watch lens.
