Everyday public and civic spaces are vital. They should reflect our aspirations promoting the idea that the people that live in, visit, or use the space are respected and cared for. But more so, in the same ways as a country dweller feels nourished by the sight of the leaves turning a million shades of gold, the built environment in which some many of us live can nourish us.

Our buildings and public spaces have the potential to be places that arouse our curiosity, enchant us, make us chuckle or provide tranquillity: all offer rejuvenation and refreshment to essential aspects of our human nature.

With this in mind I seek to produce work that is specific to a location; that responds to problems, opportunities and situations both in terms of the architecture and use of the space.
